The Latest Updates of Android Jelly Bean 4.3 has made some people frown for the "Scanning always available" feature for WiFi. Some are criticizing it and some are telling how to disable it. But where WiFi scanning does not dry your battery that much and has it own some benefits.
The main thing is that this "Scanning always available" feature is not "On" by default. One has to set it to On mode if wants to use this feature, which means is you are going to buy devices with Android Jelly Bean 4.3 or need Android Jelly Bean 4.3 Upgrade for your smart device, you have no need to worry.
And if some one wants to Disable Wi-Fi Scanning Always Available follow the instructions:
Go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Menu > Advance > Scanning Always Available, here you can check it to On or Uncheck it to Off Always Scanning for WiFi Networks.
